Install
This is the repository archive. It installs, but the folder name will carry the branch suffix and updates will not flow.
Install straight from GitLab with WP-CLI:
wp plugin install https://gitlab.com/helloxesca/family-map-wordpress-plugins/-/archive/main/family-map-wordpress-plugins-main.zipNo built-in updater. New versions won't appear under Dashboard → Updates. Install new releases yourself, or let Git Updater track the repository.
Family Maps WordPress Plugin
This repository contains a WordPress plugin for creating and displaying interactive family trees.
Installation
Prerequisites
- WordPress 5.0 or higher
- PHP 7.4 or higher
- Modern web browser with JavaScript enabled
Installing the Plugin
1. Download the plugin directory:
- family-maps
2. Upload the plugin directory to your WordPress installation's /wp-content/plugins/ directory
3. Activate the plugin through the WordPress admin panel:
- Go to Plugins Installed Plugins
- Find "Family Maps" and click "Activate"
