No release zip yet. The repository archive installs, but the folder name will carry the branch suffix and updates will not flow:

An effort to combine features of other forks of the well-known Subscribe-to-Comments PlugIn with the Subscribe-to-Double-Opt-In-Comments plugin, which features double-opt-in to prevent spam and stay in line with European laws.

Allows readers to receive notifications of new comments that are posted to an entry, with double-opt-in Feature. First, the user will get an e-mail with a confirmation link, after the user has confirmed the subscription, he or she will be noticed about new comments. Plugin based on Mark Jaquith "Subscribe to Comments". More information on my blog: sjmp.de.

Language support: English, German, Slovak, Turkish, Danish, Belorussian, Spanish (Argentina), Ukrainian, Italian, Hebrew, Arabic, Portuguese (Brazilian), Lithuanian, Dutch, Romanian.

Weiterentwicklung der bekannten Version des "Subscribe to Comments" Plugins von Mark Jaquith. Jetzt mit Double-Opt-In Feature. Wichtig für deutsche Blogger. User müssen ein Abo eines Blogposts erst via E-Mail bestaetigen. Danach erhalten sie erst eine Mail falls ein neuer Kommentar gepostet wurde. So werden Spameintragungen ausgeschlossen.   1. Upload all files to the "/wp-content/plugins/" directory
  2. Activate the plugin through the "Plugins" menu in your WordPress Adminpanel
  3. Set settings via "Settings" menu in WordPress
  4. Ready, steady, go :)
