This is the repository archive. It installs, but the folder name will carry the branch suffix and updates will not flow.

Install straight from GitHub with WP-CLI:

wp plugin install https://github.com/gdwallage/wp-plugin-gallery-master-sync/archive/refs/heads/main.zip
No built-in updater. New versions won't appear under Dashboard → Updates. Install new releases yourself, or let Git Updater track the repository.

Source Repository Mode 1:1 Gallery Synchronization and Optimization Engine for Gary Wallage Photography WordPress Multisite.

Features

  • 1:1 Storage Sync: Watches source directory (/srv/media/copyright mapped into container) and mirrors galleries directly into WordPress media attachments.
  • Automated WebP Conversion: Converts master full-res photography to high-efficiency WebP images with custom maximum dimension (2560px) and quality constraints (80) for peak Core Web Vitals.
  • Metadata Extraction: Automatically reads EXIF/IPTC metadata, copyright info, captions, and camera settings.
  • Taxonomy Integration: Registers category and tag taxonomies directly on media attachments for genre-wide filtering.
