This is the repository archive. It installs, but the folder name will carry the branch suffix and updates will not flow.

Install straight from GitHub with WP-CLI:

wp plugin install https://github.com/frasun/wp-vat-eu/archive/refs/heads/main.zip
No built-in updater. New versions won't appear under Dashboard → Updates. Install new releases yourself, or let Git Updater track the repository.

WP VAT EU — WooCommerce EU VAT Plugin

EU VAT compliance for WooCommerce stores.

Features

  • Compatible with classic and block themes
  • Adds VAT/tax ID field to checkout and My Account settings
  • Displays VAT/tax ID in order summary
  • Saves VAT / tax ID in customer billing address
  • Validates EU VAT number using VIES API
  • Uses local VAT number validators as a fallback
