This is the repository archive. It installs, but the folder name will carry the branch suffix and updates will not flow.

Install straight from GitHub with WP-CLI:

Generates a reservation button with WhatsApp and Email options for specific restaurants.

Description

Reservation Button by WP Frank is a simple yet powerful WordPress plugin that allows you to create customizable reservation buttons for your restaurant, cafe, or business pages.

Each button generates a dropdown with options to contact the owner via WhatsApp or Email, complete with pre-filled, dynamically generated messages. You can easily manage multiple reservation buttons from the WordPress backend, customize their appearance, and insert them anywhere on your site using shortcodes.

Installation

  1. Upload the plugin files to the /wp-content/plugins/reservation-button directory, or install the plugin through the WordPress plugins screen directly.
  2. Activate the plugin through the 'Plugins' screen in WordPress.
  3. Navigate to Reservation Buttons in your WordPress admin menu.
  4. Click Add New to configure a button for a specific restaurant or location.
  5. Copy the generated shortcode and paste it wherever you want the button to appear.

Configuration

Global Settings

Go to Reservation Buttons > Settings to define your default inquiry templates for WhatsApp and Email. You can use the following tags to dynamically insert information:

  • {restaurant_name}
  • {location}
