This is the repository archive. It installs, but the folder name will carry the branch suffix and updates will not flow.

Install straight from GitHub with WP-CLI:

No built-in updater. New versions won't appear under Dashboard → Updates. Install new releases yourself, or let Git Updater track the repository.

Shortcodes

Guest Registration Form

[guest_registration event_id="1"]

Displays a registration form for guests to sign up for an event.

Guest Check-in Form

[guest_verification event_id="1"]

Displays a check-in form with QR code scanner for event staff to verify guests.

Guest Check-in List

[guest_checkin_list event_id="1" show_all="yes" limit="50"]

Displays a list of guests with their check-in status and timestamps.

Parameters:

  • event_id: The ID of the event (default: 1)
  • show_all: Whether to show all guests or only checked-in guests (yes/no, default: yes)
  • limit: Maximum number of guests to display (default: 50)

Usage

  1. Create an event from the WordPress admin under Guestlist > Events
  2. Copy the shortcodes for the event and add them to your pages
  3. Share the registration page link with potential guests
  4. Use the check-in page at the event to verify guests
  5. View the check-in list to monitor attendance

Check-in Process

  1. Open the check-in page on a device with a camera (for QR scanning)
  2. Scan guest QR codes or manually enter their email
  3. The system will verify the guest and record the check-in time
  4. The system prevents duplicate check-ins and displays when a guest was already checked in

Check-in List

The check-in list page provides:

  • Summary statistics (total guests, checked-in percentage)
  • Filtering options (all guests or checked-in only)
  • Detailed guest information including check-in timestamps
  • Responsive design for both desktop and mobile viewing

Installation

  1. Upload the plugin files to the /wp-content/plugins/event-guestlist-pro directory
  2. Activate the plugin through the 'Plugins' menu in WordPress
  3. Configure events and start using the shortcodes
