Install
Upload it under Plugins → Add New Plugin → Upload Plugin, then activate.
Install straight from GitHub with WP-CLI:

Adds per-download redirect URL + delay to Download Monitor downloads. Also adds a global settings page under the Download Monitor menu where admins can toggle "open in new tab" and set a global default delay.
Installation
- Upload the
dlm-redirect-after-downloadfolder towp-content/plugins/. - Activate the plugin in WordPress admin.
- Go to Download Monitor → DLM Redirect to configure global behavior.
- Edit a download in Download Monitor and enter a Redirect URL and Delay (seconds) in the sidebar meta box.
Notes
- The plugin opens downloads in a new tab by default (configurable). This helps ensure the download starts before the current page is redirected.
- Browsers or pop-up blockers may affect behavior; test across Chrome, Firefox and Safari.
