How It Works

Installation

IMPORTANT: Download the Correct ZIP File

DO NOT download the repository ZIP from the main branch! The repository includes development files (node_modules, source code, etc.) totaling ~129MB and will not work properly when installed in WordPress.

ALWAYS download the official release ZIP from GitHub Releases. These are clean, production-ready distributions (~2-3MB) that contain only the necessary files.

Installation Steps

1. Download the latest release ZIP from GitHub: https://github.com/enspyred/wp-plugin-enspyred-contact-form/releases
2. Log in to your WordPress admin panel
3. Navigate to Plugins > Add New > Upload Plugin
4. Choose the downloaded release ZIP file and click "Install Now"
5. Activate the plugin
6. Follow the configuration steps below

1. Navigate to Contact Forms in your WordPress admin menu
2. Click Settings to configure global settings
3. Add your Google reCAPTCHA v3 Site Key and Secret Key
4. Configure email notification settings
5. Create your first contact form
6. Use the shortcode [enspyred_contact_form] to display the form on any page or post

Yes, you'll need to register for Google reCAPTCHA v3 keys at https://www.google.com/recaptcha/admin. It's free and helps protect your forms from spam.

Currently, the plugin includes standard contact form fields (name, email, phone, country, message). Additional customization options are planned for future releases.
