This is the repository archive. It installs, but the folder name will carry the branch suffix and updates will not flow.

Install straight from GitHub with WP-CLI:

wp plugin install https://github.com/engyahmed7/wordfilterplugin/archive/refs/heads/main.zip
No built-in updater. New versions won't appear under Dashboard → Updates. Install new releases yourself, or let Git Updater track the repository.

Description

The Word Filter plugin allows you to filter and replace specific words across all posts and pages on your WordPress site.

Installation

  1. Download the plugin files.
  2. Upload the plugin files to the /wp-content/plugins/word-filter directory, or install the plugin through the WordPress plugins screen directly.
  3. Activate the plugin through the 'Plugins' screen in WordPress.

Usage

  1. Go to the 'Word Filter' menu in the WordPress admin dashboard.
  2. Enter the words you want to filter in the 'Words to Filter' textarea, one word per line.
  3. Enter the replacement text in the 'Replacement Text' field.
  4. Click 'Save Changes' to apply the filters.
