This is the repository archive. It installs, but the folder name will carry the branch suffix and updates will not flow.

Install straight from GitHub with WP-CLI:

wp plugin install https://github.com/empirextech/empire-toc-wp/archive/refs/heads/main.zip
No built-in updater. New versions won't appear under Dashboard → Updates. Install new releases yourself, or let Git Updater track the repository.

Empire TOC for WordPress

Free automatic table of contents from H2/H3, with stable heading IDs. Built by SC EMPIRE GLOBAL SOLUTIONS SRL (EMPIREX Tech).

Original EMPIREX module. Not a client dump.

What it does

  • Builds a cuprins from H2/H3 on singular posts and pages
  • Adds id attributes when missing (keeps existing IDs)
  • Deduplicates slugs (prima, prima-2)
  • Stays silent below the minimum heading count (default 2)

Install

  1. Download the ZIP from Empire Shop (free) or clone this repo
  2. Plugins → Upload → Activate
  3. Settings → Empire TOC
