This is the repository archive. It installs, but the folder name will carry the branch suffix and updates will not flow.
Install straight from GitHub with WP-CLI:
wp plugin install https://github.com/emarketingcy/simple-floating-whatsapp/archive/refs/heads/main.zipNo built-in updater. New versions won't appear under Dashboard → Updates. Install new releases yourself, or let Git Updater track the repository.

Installation
- Upload the plugin files to
/wp-content/plugins/simple-floating-whatsapp/ - Activate the plugin through the 'Plugins' menu in WordPress
- Navigate to Settings > eM WhatsApp to configure your button
- Enter your WhatsApp phone number (with country code)
- Toggle the button ON to display it on your website
Configuration
Phone Number Format
Enter your WhatsApp number in international format without spaces, dashes, or the + symbol:
- Correct:
35799123456(Cyprus) - Correct:
15551234567(USA) - Incorrect:
+357 99 123456
Custom Message
Add a pre-filled message that appears when users click the WhatsApp button. This helps initiate conversations:
- "Hi! I'm interested in your services..."
- "Hello! I'd like to get more information about..."
Button Position
Choose where the button appears:
- Bottom Right (default) - Traditional placement
- Bottom Left - Alternative positioning
