Dzen Chat for WordPress

Add an AI assistant to your WordPress site with Dzen Chat. Help visitors find answers in your website content and knowledge base, and manage the integration from WordPress.

Features

  • View each page's indexing status and saved triggers in the editor, or exclude it from indexing and future updates.
  • Upload TXT and Markdown documents to your knowledge base.
  • Review conversation history, feedback and saved follow-up suggestions in WordPress, with links to the same conversations in Dzen Chat.
  • Offer visitors a chat invitation on 404 pages.
  • Use English or Russian, with dates and times following your WordPress settings.

Installation

Requirements: WordPress 6.8+, PHP 8.2+ with sodium, and an HTTPS website. Automatic content synchronization requires working WordPress scheduled tasks (WP-Cron).

  1. Download dzen-chat-X.Y.Z.zip from the latest release.
  2. In WordPress, open Plugins → Add New → Upload Plugin, upload the ZIP and activate Dzen Chat.
  3. Open Dzen Chat in the admin menu and click Connect Dzen Chat.
  4. Choose an existing project or create a new one in Dzen Chat, then return to WordPress.
  5. Open Dzen Chat → Widgets, select an enabled widget and click Save selection.
  6. Visit a public page to check the chat widget.

To update the plugin, upload the new release ZIP and confirm replacement.
