Install
This is the repository archive. It installs, but the folder name will carry the branch suffix and updates will not flow.
Install straight from GitHub with WP-CLI:
wp plugin install https://github.com/drewmt/lineweb-checkout-rules-for-woocommerce/archive/refs/heads/main.zipSet clear payment and shipping restrictions, then test your rules before applying them.
Free, open source and self-hosted. No subscriptions, commissions or premium feature gates.

What it does
- Hide selected payment or shipping methods, or keep only a selected subset.
- Combine all/any conditions on discounted subtotal, shippable weight, item quantity, product and variation IDs, exact category IDs, shipping classes, destination and roles.
- Test synthetic scenarios against the same evaluator that filters checkout.
- See which conditions match and which rules remove methods, including empty-result warnings.
- Start in preview mode; opt into live filtering only after testing.
- Duplicate rules and import/export bounded, validated JSON documents.
- Keep everything local. No external account, telemetry, ads or premium feature gates.
Important semantics
Rules only remove existing candidates. They cannot enable a gateway or shipping rate that WooCommerce or another plugin has excluded. Rules combine by restriction.
Payment conditions use the full cart. Shipping conditions use one package and its destination at a time. Subtotal means line totals after discounts, excluding tax, shipping and fees. Weight uses the store's units and only shippable products. Category IDs match directly assigned categories, not their descendants. Product rules recognize both a variation and its parent ID. Unknown destination values do not match negative destination rules.
The scenario lab tests your supplied facts and method IDs. It does not calculate carrier quotes, gateway eligibility, taxes or inventory. Empty results never restore a forbidden method. Test representative carts before activating restrictions.
Order-pay, subscription renewals and express wallets outside the regular checkout are outside this initial version's scope. The method picker currently lists zone-based shipping methods, not the separate Checkout Blocks pickup-location system. Multi-currency and third-party extensions need explicit compatibility testing. No payment processing or order data is changed.
Development
Requires PHP 7.4+, WordPress 7.0+ and WooCommerce. There are no runtime dependencies apart from WordPress/WooCommerce and no frontend build step.

php tools/release.php
tests/blueprint.json runs isolated WordPress/WooCommerce integration checks with
WordPress Playground. Mount this repository at
/wordpress/wp-content/plugins/lineweb-checkout-rules-for-woocommerce, tests at
/lwcr-tests, and an output folder at /lwcr-results. Never use a production store
as a test harness. Mail is intercepted and test gateways are offline only.
Release 1.0.0 was exercised with WooCommerce 11.1.0 on WordPress 7.0 / PHP 7.4 and WordPress 7.1 / PHP 8.4, with MariaDB and MySQL respectively. Validation covers 50 evaluator assertions, admin regression tests, 32 real WooCommerce integration assertions, concurrent settings saves, HPOS and legacy order storage, lifecycle checks and completed Classic/Blocks browser purchases. CI runs the public test suite.
The deterministic release builder includes only the 12 runtime, license and public release-documentation files. Development tools, tests, screenshots and translation catalogues do not enter the install ZIP. Plugin Check and coding-standard checks complement testing; they are not a guarantee of compatibility with every store.
English source strings and a Greek translation catalogue are maintained here. WordPress.org language-pack availability depends on translation approval. See translation development.

Data and removal
Only rule settings are stored in the lwcr_settings option. The plugin does not
record customer addresses, orders or scenario inputs. Deactivation preserves rules;
uninstall deletes settings on the current site. Exports always return to preview
mode to avoid accidental activation on another store.
