Install
No release zip yet. The repository archive installs, but the folder name will carry the branch suffix and updates will not flow:
wp plugin install https://github.com/digipacket-net/digipacket-partner-for-woocommerce/archive/refs/heads/main.zipDigipacket Partner — Setup Guide
Sell Digipacket services (domains, hosting, e-mail, SSL…) under your own brand, straight from your WooCommerce store. Orders are placed in your reseller account; you set your own selling prices and keep the margin.
1. Requirements
- WordPress
- WooCommerce (installed and active)
- A Digipacket reseller account with API access
2. Installation
Method A — over SSH (recommended)
Connect to your server over SSH, change into your site's plugins directory, then clone the repository:
cd /path/to/your-site/wp-content/plugins
git clone https://github.com/digipacket-net/digipacket-partner-for-woocommerce.git
If git isn't available on the server, download and extract the archive instead:
cd /path/to/your-site/wp-content/plugins
curl -L -o dp.zip https://github.com/digipacket-net/digipacket-partner-for-woocommerce/archive/refs/heads/main.zip
unzip dp.zip && rm dp.zip
mv digipacket-partner-for-woocommerce-main digipacket-partner-for-woocommerce
Then activate the plugin:
wp plugin activate digipacket-partner-for-woocommerce # with WP-CLI
… or in WordPress → Plugins → Digipacket Partner → Activate.
Updating (when installed with git clone):
cd /path/to/your-site/wp-content/plugins/digipacket-partner-for-woocommerce
git pull
The repository is public, so no SSH key or GitHub account is required. Repository owners can also clone over SSH:
git clone git@github.com:digipacket-net/digipacket-partner-for-woocommerce.git
Method B — upload the .zip
- Download the archive from the Releases page.
- WordPress → Plugins → Add New → Upload Plugin, upload the
.zip, then Activate.
Either way, a Digipacket Partner menu then appears in your dashboard.
3. Activation (one-time setup)
Open Digipacket Partner (WordPress menu) and follow the activation box:
- Allow the displayed IP address: the plugin shows the IP address to whitelist
(a blue, click-to-copy pill). In your Digipacket panel → Settings → API:
- enable API access;
- add that IP to your API key's whitelist.
⚠️ Without this, the connection returns "Access denied".
- Reseller ID + API key: copy them from your Digipacket panel → API, paste them into the
plugin, then click "Save & connect".
- ✅ "Connected to account: …" means you're all set.
The connection to the Digipacket server is automatic — there is no URL to configure.
4. Import services
Once connected, click "Import services". Your offers (hosting, e-mail, SSL…) become WooCommerce products with live pricing. You can then adjust your selling prices like on any other WooCommerce product.
Product pages are Elementor-editable (enabled automatically for products). A page you have customized with Elementor is not overwritten by re-imports — only its prices and provisioning data are refreshed.
Editing a plan's price and details: product → Product data panel → Digipacket Partner tab. Adjust the price for each billing term and tick "Keep my changes" so imports stop overwriting that product's name, description and prices.
5. Selling
Domains
Add this shortcode to a page (search + availability + add to cart):
[digipacket_domain_search]
The customer searches for a domain, sees whether it's available and at what price, then adds it to the cart.
To list every extension with its price per year (with a search filter):
[digipacket_domain_prices]
Options: tlds="com, net,fr" (forces the list and its order), limit="24", search="no".
For a "trending domains" banner (heading + extension/price cards):
[digipacket_trending_domains tlds="com,org,app,dev,xyz" link_url="/extensions"]
Options: title="…", compare="30" (shows a struck-through former price 30 % higher),
link_text="See all extensions →".
Hosting
Imported hosting products show a "Domain name" field (hosting is tied to a domain). The customer enters their domain before adding to the cart.
VPS — server add-ons
VPS products offer checkbox add-ons (cPanel/WHM licence, Plesk, extra IP, backups…). Each option is billed as monthly price × chosen term and passed along with the order.
E-mail (Titan, Google Workspace)
On e-mail plans the customer picks the number of accounts ("Number of e-mail accounts" field on the product page); the total is accounts × chosen term.
Plan grids (web hosting, cloud, Google Workspace…)
Display a grid of plans on any page:
[digipacket_plans category="Web hosting"]
The category matches the WooCommerce categories created at import time (Web hosting, Reseller
hosting, Cloud, Google Workspace, Titan Email, SSL… — see Products → Categories).
Options: limit="6" (number of plans), button="Order now" (button label),
skus="7007116,7007117" (shows exactly these plans, in this order — each plan's SKU is visible
under Products).
Order → provisioning
Every paid order is submitted automatically and provisioned in your reseller account (the domain is registered / the hosting is created at the provider). Each WooCommerce order receives a note with the outcome (✓ registered + provider reference, or the error).
6. Troubleshooting
| Message | Cause & fix |
|---|---|
| Insufficient funds | Every order is debited from your reseller balance → top it up (Digipacket panel → Billing → Add funds), then pay the pending order in the panel or re-run the "Digipacket Partner: (re)provision" action on the order. The balance is shown at the top of the Digipacket Partner page. |
| Access denied by the provider | The server's IP isn't whitelisted, or API access isn't enabled → Digipacket panel → Settings → API. |
| Invalid Reseller ID or API key | Check that the ID and key really belong to your account. |
| WooCommerce is required | Install and activate WooCommerce. |
| Domain search shows nothing | Clear the cache / hard-reload (Ctrl+Shift+R); check the connection (step 3). |
7. Notes
- Your reseller balance must be sufficient: registering a domain or creating hosting debits your account.
- Products and their prices are imported directly from your Digipacket.net account.
- Your API credentials are never exposed publicly: they stay in the plugin settings and are transmitted encrypted (HTTPS) to the Digipacket.net server.
- The plugin is fully translatable. English is the source language and a complete French
(
fr_FR) translation ships inlanguages/; WordPress picks one automatically based on the site locale. Translators can start fromlanguages/digipacket-partner-for-woocommerce.pot.
