A powerful and lightweight blog feed widget for Question2Answer (Q2A) that allows you to display the latest posts from any WordPress website directly inside your Q2A community.

📦 Installation

Download the latest release from the Releases section.

Extract the ZIP file.

Upload the folder:
qa-blogfeed-widgetinto your Q2A installation directory:
/qa-plugin/ -
Go to your Q2A Admin Panel → Plugins

Activate Blog Feed Widget
⚙️ Configuration
After activating the plugin:

Go to Admin → Blog Feed Settings

Enter your WordPress site URL
Example:https://example.com(Do NOT add
/feed— it is added automatically.) -
Configure your options:
- Number of latest posts
- Excerpt length
- Enable/Disable "Read More" button
- Enable/Disable "Read All" button
- Select color mode (Auto or Force Light)

Click Save Settings
📍 Displaying the Widget
After configuring:
- Go to Admin → Layout
- Locate Blog Feed Widget
- Select the position where you want it to appear
- Save layout changes
The widget will now appear in your selected location on the frontend.
If it does not appear immediately, clear your cache and refresh the page.
🎨 Color Modes
- Auto Mode follows the visitor’s device theme (light/dark).
- Force Light Mode ensures a consistent white background with readable text regardless of device settings.
🌍 Compatibility
- Works with Question2Answer 1.8+
- Compatible with most Q2A themes
- Works with any standard WordPress RSS feed
- No WordPress plugin required
- No API keys required
