No release zip yet. The repository archive installs, but the folder name will carry the branch suffix and updates will not flow:

myEvent Wordpress Plugin allow you to add events from WordPress widgets. Once you install you can create post with events dates and it will be automatically be posted on the widget. For detailed description read "readme.txt" file or https://darekrepos.github.io/myEvent/

How to install

From the Wordpress Plugin Directory

Currently myEvent plugin is not available in the official website: https://wordpress.org/plugins/

From this repository

Go to the releases section of the repository and download the most recent release. It is the latest file with the ZIP extension.

Then, from your WordPress administration panel, go to "Plugins > Add New" and click the "Upload Plugin" button at the top of the page.

How to use

Go to wordpress administration panel. Next go to "Plugins > Installed plugins" and scroll down until you find my Event plugin. You will need to activate it first. Then you must click on myEvent on the left side of the screen icon "Settings" to configure it. For detailed description read "readme.txt" file.

Configuration

Create events

From the menu on the left in WordPress, select the MyEvent icon and then the "Add new" option. Then you need to fill the title and metaboxes with the desired data. When finished, click the publish button.

Display events

Go to "Dashboard > Appearence > Widgets" page. Drag and drop myEvent widget to selected sidebar.
