A WordPress plugin that crawls wine retailer websites without official APIs, extracts structured product data, and imports it as WooCommerce products with AI-assisted descriptions and affiliate deeplinks — built for a wine content/affiliate site importing from 5 retailers with completely different front-end architectures.
The problem
None of the target retailers (Wine, Evino, Carrefour, Decanter, Descorcha) expose a public product API. Each one needed a different extraction strategy:
