This is the repository archive. It installs, but the folder name will carry the branch suffix and updates will not flow.

Install straight from GitHub with WP-CLI:

wp plugin install https://github.com/controlaltdelete-nl/wordpress-google-site-verification/archive/refs/heads/main.zip

On Packagist as controlaltdelete/wordpress-google-site-verification:

composer require controlaltdelete/wordpress-google-site-verification
No built-in updater. New versions won't appear under Dashboard → Updates. Install new releases yourself, or let Git Updater track the repository.

Control Alt Delete Google Site Verification A simple plugin that adds the Google Site Verification meta tag to your site. Nothing more, nothing fancy. Setting the key can be done by navigation to Settings Google Site Verification and entering the key. Done. Installation Download the plugin and upload it to your WordPress site. Activate it and you're done. Or use Composer:
