⚙️ Requirements

  • WordPress 6.0 or higher
  • PHP 7.4 or higher
  • Server Extension: Your server needs to have the GD library or Imagick extension enabled with WebP support.

📦 Installation

From GitHub Release

  1. Go to the Releases section of this repository.
  2. Download the latest servitechnology-webp-converter.zip file.
  3. In your WordPress admin panel, go to Plugins > Add New > Upload Plugin.
  4. Upload the downloaded .zip file and click Install Now.
  5. Click Activate Plugin.
  6. Visit the "Servitech WebP" menu in your dashboard to configure the default WebP quality and access the tools.

Manual Installation

  1. Clone this repository or download the source code.
  2. Place the servitechnology-webp-converter folder inside your /wp-content/plugins/ directory.
  3. Activate the plugin through the 'Plugins' menu in WordPress.
