This is the repository archive. It installs, but the folder name will carry the branch suffix and updates will not flow.

Install straight from GitHub with WP-CLI:

wp plugin install https://github.com/chandrapatel/wp-locale-news/archive/refs/heads/master.zip

No built-in updater. New versions won't appear under Dashboard → Updates. Install new releases yourself, or let Git Updater track the repository.

WP Locale News # Display a news feed from your locale's Rosetta site in your Dashboard and theme Description ## This plugin pulls the feed from your locale's Rosetta site and displays it in your Dashboard and/or theme. Dashboard widget ### Select your locale from Settings - Locale News and hit "save Settings". That's it! A widget which shows the latest news from the selected locale's Rosetta site will be added to the Dashboard. Theme widget ### Now, go to Appearance - Widgets and add the "WP Locale News" widget. Select your locale and hit "Save". Installation ## 1. Upload /wp-locale-news/ folder to the /wp-content/plugins/ directory 2. Activate the plugin through the 'Plugins' menu in WordPress Changelog ## Initial release
