This is the repository archive. It installs, but the folder name will carry the branch suffix and updates will not flow.

Install straight from GitHub with WP-CLI:

wp plugin install https://github.com/ch604/mychurchevents-widget/archive/refs/heads/master.zip
No built-in updater. New versions won't appear under Dashboard → Updates. Install new releases yourself, or let Git Updater track the repository.

MyChurchEvents.com Calendar Widget

Collects weekly calendar data from mychurchevents.com. requires your ci=* number, which you can get from the URL of your calendar page after you log in.

Description

Nothing really to put here. The plugin is very basic, and adds a customizable widget to your site that will display the next 7 days of data from your calendar in an iframe. Feel free to alter the urls as you see fit.

Installation

  1. Upload the php file to the /wp-content/plugins/ directory
  2. Alter ownerships or permissions as necessary (file should be 644 or similar).
  3. Activate the plugin in your WordPress admin area.
  4. Go to the widgets section and drage the MyChurchEvents.com widget to the appropriate location. Add your Church ID (ci) in the field and name the box appropriately. You can get the ci number from the URL of MyChurchEvents.com after you log in.
