This is the repository archive. It installs, but the folder name will carry the branch suffix and updates will not flow.

Install straight from GitHub with WP-CLI:

No built-in updater. New versions won't appear under Dashboard → Updates. Install new releases yourself, or let Git Updater track the repository.

Sends WooCommerce shop events to Telegram — a private chat, a group, a channel or a single topic inside a forum group.

Status: v1.0.0 — tested live (order created, status changed, message delivered) on a WooCommerce 10.x store.

Features

  • New order — announced once, the first time an order reaches one of the statuses you tick.
  • Status change — a separate status list, so you only hear about what matters.
  • Failed payment — optional notice for orders that land in failed.
  • Low stock — fires on WooCommerce's own low-stock threshold.
  • Several chats at once; forum topics supported as -1001234567890:42.
  • Custom templates with tags for number, total, items, customer, phone, address, payment and shipping method, and an admin link.
  • A template line whose tags all resolve to empty is dropped, so messages never show dangling labels.
  • Silent delivery option (no notification sound).
  • "Find chat_id" button — no third-party helper bot needed.
  • Delivery log with Telegram's HTTP status, and one retry five minutes after a failure.
  • Bot token stored encrypted (sodium when available, HMAC-stream fallback).
  • HPOS (custom order tables) and block checkout compatible.

Install

  1. Upload the plugin ZIP in Plugins → Add New → Upload, activate.
  2. Create a bot: send /newbot to @BotFather, copy the token.
  3. Paste the token in WooCommerce → Telegram-сповіщення.
  4. Message your bot (or add it to a group as an administrator), press Знайти chat_id, paste the id, save.
  5. Press Надіслати тестове повідомлення to confirm delivery.

Telegram's HTML mode accepts only <b>, <i>, <u>, <s>, <code>, <pre> and <a href>.

External service

The plugin talks to the Telegram Bot API (https://api.telegram.org) — that is how a message reaches your chat. It sends your bot token, the chat id and the rendered message (which may include order and customer details, depending on your template). Telegram's terms and privacy policy apply.
