This is the repository archive. It installs, but the folder name will carry the branch suffix and updates will not flow.

Install straight from GitHub with WP-CLI:

wp plugin install https://github.com/castlegateit/cgit-wp-redirect/archive/refs/heads/master.zip

No built-in updater. New versions won't appear under Dashboard → Updates. Install new releases yourself, or let Git Updater track the repository.

Basic URL redirects for WordPress themes and plugins. You can add redirects with the cgit_redirects filter:

Note that domains and leading and trailing spaces will be stripped from to and from definitions, so this plugin is only suitable for redirects within a WordPress site and not redirects to other domains.

Debugging

If CGIT_WP_REDIRECT_DEBUG is set to true in wp-config.php, redirects will be printed in the browser instead of being followed.
