Install
This is the repository archive. It installs, but the folder name will carry the branch suffix and updates will not flow.
Install straight from GitHub with WP-CLI:
wp plugin install https://github.com/castlegateit/cgit-wp-imagify-preserve-html/archive/refs/heads/main.zipImagify replaces <img> elements with <picture> elements, which changes the HTML structure and can cause compatibility issues with styles and scripts. This plugin preserves the HTML structure by replacing image URLs with their AVIF or WebP equivalents before Imagify processes them, preventing them from being replaced with <picture> elements. Please be aware that this also removes the fallback to the original image format provided by the <picture> element.
