Install
This is the repository archive. It installs, but the folder name will carry the branch suffix and updates will not flow.
Install straight from GitHub with WP-CLI:
wp plugin install https://github.com/carloswei168-code/magnet-surface-field-calculator/archive/refs/heads/main.zipNo built-in updater. New versions won't appear under Dashboard → Updates. Install new releases yourself, or let Git Updater track the repository.

A complete WordPress plugin that provides a frontend calculator for estimating magnet surface field strength using a practical axial dipole approximation.

Installation
- Copy this repository into your WordPress
wp-content/plugins/directory. - Ensure the main plugin file is
magnet-surface-field-calculator.php. - Activate Magnet Surface Field Calculator from the WordPress admin plugins page.

Calculation Model
The plugin uses a simplified axis field approximation:
- axial and radial attenuation are estimated based on magnet geometry and measurement distance
- intended for quick engineering estimates
- not a substitute for finite element analysis (FEA) or calibrated measurements
