Findings

  • medium ajax_get_blacklist missing capability check

    missing_capability

Reads the full CleanDash blacklist via AJAX with only bd_cleandash_admin_nonce verification. Sibling handlers (toggle, remove, github updates) correctly require manage_options. Any authenticated user with the admin nonce can dump blacklist entries.

    includes/class-bd-admin.php:376-398

    Recommendation

Add current_user_can('manage_options') after the nonce check, matching the other BD CleanDash AJAX handlers.

WP Registry hashes the installable build and reports on that exact bytes-for-bytes copy. Embargoed findings are withheld until they are disclosed, so a clean verdict means nothing public is outstanding. WP Manifest does not audit code itself.
