This is the repository archive. It installs, but the folder name will carry the branch suffix and updates will not flow.

Install straight from GitHub with WP-CLI:

wp plugin install https://github.com/bryanheadrick/numverify-validation-for-woocommerce/archive/refs/heads/master.zip
No built-in updater. New versions won't appear under Dashboard → Updates. Install new releases yourself, or let Git Updater track the repository.

Description

Validates phone numbers at checkout.

By default, WooCommerce only validates that the phone number fields contain characters valid for a phone number, but does not validate that is a proper number of digits or whether it is a real phone number.

This initial release only validates US phone numbers, but also includes optional integration with Numverify (https://numverify.com/) which supports validation for 232 countries, and has very reasonable pricing. (Free for up to 250 validations/mo).

Installation

Manual Installation

  1. Upload the entire /woocommerce-phone-validation directory to the /wp-content/plugins/ directory.
  2. Activate WooCommerce Phone Validation through the 'Plugins' menu in WordPress.
