Build (if developing)

npm install
npm run build

This produces build/index.js and build/index.asset.php which are loaded in the block editor.

Usage

  • In the block editor, insert the blocks below:
    • "Brayne: Post Generator":
      • Enter a post title and choose a word count.
      • Click "Generate Post" to insert the AI-generated content into the editor.
    • "Brayne: Image Generator":
      • Describe the image you want.
      • Choose size and click "Generate Image" to insert it into the content as a media item.

Providers

  • OpenAI is included by default. To add more providers:
    • Implement includes/providers/interface-provider.php
    • Add a class under includes/providers/ (e.g., class-anthropic-provider.php)
    • Update includes/class-rest.php::get_provider() to route to your new provider.
    • Extend the settings page to capture API keys and defaults.

Security

  • REST endpoints require edit_posts for text and upload_files for images.
  • Nonce is used via @wordpress/api-fetch middleware.

Notes

  • Generated images are sideloaded into the Media Library.
  • Text output aims for clean HTML suitable for WordPress blocks.
