This is the repository archive. It installs, but the folder name will carry the branch suffix and updates will not flow.

Install straight from GitHub with WP-CLI:

wp plugin install https://github.com/bird-ie/wordpress-affiliate-management-plugin/archive/refs/heads/main.zip

No built-in updater. New versions won't appear under Dashboard → Updates. Install new releases yourself, or let Git Updater track the repository.

Custom WordPress Affiliate Management System

A custom-built WordPress plugin that extends WooCommerce with affiliate management functionality, referral tracking workflows, coupon integration, affiliate dashboards, administrative tools, and payout management.

Requirements

WordPress 6.0 or later
PHP 7.4 or later
WooCommerce installed and active

Note: These are the minimum requirements declared by the plugin. Test compatibility with current WordPress, PHP, and WooCommerce versions before deploying to production.

Installation

Download or clone this repository.
Place the plugin folder inside your WordPress installation's wp-content/plugins/ directory.
Ensure WooCommerce is installed and active.
Activate the plugin through the WordPress administration dashboard.
Test the plugin's frontend and administrative functionality in a staging environment before using it on a live website.

Development Notes

The plugin uses a main loader file to initialize its functionality and load individual modules from the includes/ directory.

The code is organized into separate files for core database functionality, frontend shortcodes, affiliate administration, order management, user management, and payout-related workflows.

Security and Production Readiness

Before production deployment, review permissions and capability checks, input validation, output escaping, nonce verification, database query safety, authentication flows, and payout-related operations.

Use a staging environment and test critical WooCommerce workflows before deploying changes to a live store.
