How It Works

For Store Owners:

1. Installation and Setup:

   • Install and activate the Woo Affiliate plugin
   • Configure default commission percentages, discount rates, and cookie duration from the Woo Affiliate settings
   • Optionally set different commission and discount rates for specific product categories

2. Commission Management:

   • View all affiliates and their earned commissions from the admin dashboard
   • Process withdrawal requests when affiliates want to cash out their earnings
   • Track all commission activities and referral statistics

For Affiliates (Your Customers):

1. Becoming an Affiliate:

   • Any registered customer automatically gets an affiliate link in their My Account dashboard
   • No separate registration required - existing customers can start referring immediately

2. Sharing and Earning:

   • Share the unique affiliate link with friends, family, and followers
   • When someone clicks the link, a cookie tracks their visit for the configured duration (default 30 days)
   • When the referred visitor makes a purchase, the affiliate earns a commission

3. Managing Commissions:

   • View earned commissions in the My Account area
   • Convert commissions to discount codes for future purchases
   • Request withdrawals for direct payment

For Referred Customers:

1. Getting Discounts:
   • Click on an affiliate link to visit the store
   • See discount automatically applied at checkout
   • Complete purchase with the referral discount
