Download enable-svg-media.zip From the v20250316-9562268 release on GitHub, Mar 16, 2025

Upload it under Plugins → Add New Plugin → Upload Plugin, then activate.

Install straight from GitHub with WP-CLI:

wp plugin install https://github.com/bikebearlabs/enable-svg-media/releases/download/v20250316-9562268/enable-svg-media.zip
No built-in updater. New versions won't appear under Dashboard → Updates. Install new releases yourself, or let Git Updater track the repository.

Enable SVG Media WordPress plugin to allow SVG uploads in the Media Library. Installation Download the latest release of the plugin & install it on your WordPress site. Overview This plugin adds the image/svg+xml MIME type to the list of allowed file types in the Media Library. This allows you to upload SVG files to your WordPress site. Usage It works out of the box. No configuration needed. License MIT
