No release zip yet. The repository archive installs, but the folder name will carry the branch suffix and updates will not flow:

A WordPress must-use plugin to ignore attempts to update a symlink plugin. This is useful if, for example, multiple websites symbolically link to a single directory of plugins. Normally, during a plugin upgrade, the original plugin directory gets deleted; this plugin prevents that from happening.

installation

Copy ignore-symlink-plugin.php to /wp-content/mu-plugins.
