Scored assessments and knowledge tests for WordPress that end in a branded PDF report, on screen and by email. Think "IT health check", "website check", "marketing readiness score" or a practice exam: a visitor answers one question per screen, gets a score per area with your recommendations, and receives the report in their inbox. You get the lead.

Status: release candidate (1.0.0-rc2), running on a staging site. Not yet in the WordPress.org directory.

What it does

  • Two modes: scored assessments (points per answer, areas, result levels such as Low / Medium / High risk, a recommendation per level) and knowledge tests (right and wrong answers, pass mark, answers to review)
  • Question types: one answer, several answers, put in order (drag and drop, with arrow buttons for keyboard users); answers can be images
  • Scoring on the server: the browser never sees points, correct answers or recommendations, and cannot change the result
  • PDF report generated on the server with the bundled Dompdf: logo, accent colour, per-area bars, Polish and other accented characters; the template can be overridden from the theme
  • Automatic emails: the report to the respondent (with the PDF attached) and a notification to the site owner, through wp_mail() so any SMTP plugin applies
  • Contact step before the result (lead generation) or optional after it
  • Per-assessment language: buttons, messages, the PDF and emails follow the assessment's language, so one site can run a Polish and an English test
  • Admin: an editor for questions, points, areas, levels and email texts; submissions with a single view, PDF and CSV export; JSON import and export of a whole assessment to reuse it on another site
  • Shortcode and block over one renderer: works with the block editor, Elementor, Bricks and other builders
  • Built against abuse: honeypot, minimum fill time measured in the browser, hourly limits per IP and per email, signed expiring links; no raw IP stored
  • Privacy: WordPress personal data export and erase, retention period, suggested privacy policy text, optional full clean-up on uninstall
  • Polish translation included

How it is built

  • PHP 8.0+, WordPress 6.2+, no Composer, npm or build step at runtime
  • Third-party code only in lib/ (Dompdf 3.1.6, SortableJS 1.15.6) with sources and checksums in lib/README.md
  • Tests without PHPUnit or npm:
php -n tests/run.php
node --test --test-concurrency=1 "tests/js/*.test.js"
  • A real PDF render (needs the mbstring and gd extensions):
php -n -d extension=mbstring -d extension=gd tests/pdf-smoke.php
  • Release package: node bin/build-zip.mjs → dist/scorevia-<version>.zip
  • What the stub-based tests cannot see is listed in docs/manual-checks.md

For developers

  • Action scorevia_submission_created( $submission, $definition ) after every stored submission, for CRM hand-offs
  • Filters scorevia_result, scorevia_report_data, scorevia_mail_args, scorevia_client_ip (for sites behind a trusted proxy)
  • Assessment format: one JSON document (demo/*.scorevia.json are examples)
