Installation

1. Upload Plugin:

   • Copy the wc-variation-bundle-main folder to your WordPress wp-content/plugins/ directory
   • Or upload via WordPress admin: Plugins → Add New → Upload Plugin

2. Activate Plugin:

   • Go to WordPress Admin → Plugins
   • Find "Variation Bundle Addon"
   • Click "Activate"

3. Verify Requirements:

   • Ensure WooCommerce is installed and active
   • Check that your PHP version is 7.2 or higher

Configuration

Step 1: Enable Bundle Settings

1. Go to WooCommerce → Settings → Variation Bundle tab
2. Enable "Enable Package Products" checkbox
3. (Optional) Enable "Enable Bundle Sales Pricing" for custom bundle sale prices
4. (Optional) Enable "Enable Minimum Bundle Quantity Lock" to prevent customers from reducing quantities below admin-set minimums
5. Click "Save changes"

Step 2: Create a Variable Product

1. Go to Products → Add New
2. Set product type to "Variable product"
3. Add product attributes (e.g., Size, Color)
4. Create variations for your product
5. In the product sidebar, toggle "Bundle Variation" to ON
6. This enables bundle functionality for all variations of this product

Step 3: Add Bundle Products to Variations

1. Edit your variable product
2. Go to the Variations tab
3. Expand a variation you want to add bundles to
4. Scroll down to the "Package Products" section
5. Click "Add Product" button
6. In the popup:
   • Select a product from the dropdown
   • If it's a variable product, select a variation
   • Set the quantity
   • Click "ADD PRODUCT +"
7. Repeat for all products you want in the bundle
8. (Optional) Set a "Bundle Sale Price" if you want to override the calculated price
9. Click "Save changes" or "Update"

How It Works

Admin Workflow

1. Product Setup: Create a variable product and enable "Bundle Variation" toggle
2. Variation Configuration: For each variation, add bundle products via the Package Products panel
3. Price Management: Prices are automatically calculated, or you can set a custom bundle sale price
4. Settings: Configure global settings in WooCommerce → Settings → Variation Bundle

Frontend Experience

1. Product Page: Customer views the variable product
2. Variation Selection: Customer selects a variation (e.g., Size: Large, Color: Red)
3. Bundle Display: The bundle contents appear below the variation selector
4. Customization:
   • Customer can change variations for variable products in the bundle
   • Customer can adjust quantities (subject to minimum quantity lock if enabled)
5. Price Update: Total price updates in real-time based on selections
6. Add to Cart: Bundle is added to cart with all selected items and quantities

Cart & Checkout

• Bundle items are displayed in cart with quantities
• Order details show complete bundle contents
• Email notifications include bundle information
• PDF invoices (if using WP Overnight plugin) show bundle contents

Settings Options

WooCommerce Settings → Variation Bundle

1. Enable Package Products (variation_bundle_enable_packages)

   • Default: yes
   • Enables/disables all bundle functionality

2. Enable Bundle Sales Pricing (variation_bundle_enable_pricing)

   • Default: no
   • Shows/hides bundle sale price field in variation settings
   • When disabled, removes all existing bundle sale prices

3. Enable Minimum Bundle Quantity Lock (bundle_min_quantity_lock)

   • Default: no
   • When enabled, prevents customers from reducing quantities below admin-set minimums

Troubleshooting

Bundle Settings Not Appearing

Problem: Package Products section doesn't show in variation settings

Solutions:

1. Verify "Bundle Variation" toggle is ON in product sidebar
2. Check that "Enable Package Products" is enabled in WooCommerce Settings
3. Clear browser cache
4. Check browser console for JavaScript errors
5. Ensure you're editing a variation, not the parent product

Products Not Loading in Selector

Problem: Product dropdown is empty or shows error

Solutions:

1. Check that products are published (not draft)
2. Verify AJAX is working (check browser console)
3. Check user permissions (must be able to edit products)
4. Check PHP error logs for server-side errors
5. Verify nonce is valid (try refreshing the page)

Price Not Calculating Correctly

Problem: Bundle price is wrong or not updating

Solutions:

1. Verify all bundle products have prices set
2. Check that variations have prices if using variable products
3. Clear WooCommerce transients: WooCommerce → Status → Tools → Clear transients
4. Check browser console for JavaScript errors
5. Verify bundle sale price is set correctly (if using custom price)

Bundle Not Adding to Cart

Problem: Clicking "Add to Cart" doesn't work

Solutions:

1. Check browser console for JavaScript errors
2. Verify AJAX endpoint is accessible
3. Check that all required bundle items are selected
4. Verify product/variation stock status
5. Check WooCommerce cart functionality is working

Bundle Items Not Showing in Cart/Order

Problem: Cart shows bundle but not individual items

Solutions:

1. Verify cart item data is being saved correctly
2. Check that display_bundle_items_cart filter is active
3. Clear WooCommerce cache
4. Check order meta data in database
