This is the repository archive. It installs, but the folder name will carry the branch suffix and updates will not flow.

Install straight from GitHub with WP-CLI:

wp plugin install https://github.com/arafarn123/wordpress-crud/archive/refs/heads/main.zip
No built-in updater. New versions won't appear under Dashboard → Updates. Install new releases yourself, or let Git Updater track the repository.

My Basic CRUD Plugin

A basic WordPress CRUD plugin for beginners.

Description

This plugin provides a simple and easy-to-understand example of how to build a CRUD (Create, Read, Update, Delete) functionality in WordPress. It creates a custom table and provides an admin page to manage the data, as well as a shortcode to display the data on the frontend.

Installation

  1. Upload the my-basic-crud folder to the /wp-content/plugins/ directory.
  2. Activate the plugin through the 'Plugins' menu in WordPress.
  3. A new menu item "My CRUD" will appear in your WordPress admin dashboard.

Usage

  • Go to the "My CRUD" admin page to add, edit, or delete data.
  • Use the shortcode [my_crud_list] on any page or post to display the list of data.
