Install
This is the repository archive. It installs, but the folder name will carry the branch suffix and updates will not flow.
Install straight from GitHub with WP-CLI:
wp plugin install https://github.com/apina/selected-posts/archive/refs/heads/master.zipNo built-in updater. New versions won't appear under Dashboard → Updates. Install new releases yourself, or let Git Updater track the repository.

Selected Posts
A WordPress Plugin
Selected Posts allows you to show specific posts in a sidebar.
You can choose to show the title, a featured image, and an excerpt (you can set the length of this in words).
You can add more than one post by using a comma spearated list of post ID's.
It also supports Custom Post Types.
