🛠 Installation

Via WordPress Dashboard

  1. Download the woocommerce-video-gallery-enhancer-pro.zip file.
  2. Go to Plugins -> Add New -> Upload Plugin.
  3. Select the file and click Install Now, then Activate.

Via FTP/SFTP

  1. Extract the plugin folder on your computer.
  2. Upload the woocommerce-video-gallery-enhancer-pro folder to the /wp-content/plugins/ directory.
  3. Go to WordPress Dashboard -> Plugins and click Activate.

⚙️ Configuration

  1. Edit any WooCommerce Product.
  2. Locate the Product Video Gallery meta box in the right-hand sidebar.
  3. Video URL: Paste your YouTube link or click the upload icon for MP4s.
  4. Display Position: Enter a number (e.g., 1 for the first position).
  5. Video Thumbnail (Pro): Upload a custom image to act as the placeholder. Leave empty to use automatic covers.
  6. Save/Update the product.

💻 Technical Details

The plugin utilizes the woocommerce_single_product_image_thumbnail_html filter and enqueues Magnific Popup for high-performance rendering.

Requirements:

  • PHP: 7.4 or higher
  • WordPress: 6.0+
  • WooCommerce: 7.0+
