How It Works

  1. Install and activate the plugin
  2. Go to any post list (Posts, Pages, or custom post types)
  3. Use the "Archive" link in row actions or bulk actions
  4. View archived posts in the "Archived Posts" menu
  5. Unarchive posts when you want to restore them

Installation

Manual Installation

  1. Download the plugin files
  2. Upload to /wp-content/plugins/post-archiver/
  3. Activate the plugin through the Plugins menu
  4. Start archiving posts from any post list or edit screen
  5. Access archived posts through the "Archived Posts" menu in your WordPress admin

Usage

Archiving Posts

From Post List:

  • Navigate to Posts → All Posts
  • Hover over any post and click "Archive"
  • Or select multiple posts and choose "Archive" from bulk actions

From Edit Screen:

  • Open any post for editing
  • Click the "Archive" button in the publish meta box

Managing Archived Posts

View Archived Posts:

  • Go to Posts → Archived Posts
  • Browse, search, and filter your archived content

Unarchive Posts:

  • In the Archived Posts list, click "Unarchive" for any post
  • Posts will be restored to their previous status (published, draft, etc.)
