This is a WordPress plugin that adds a events calendar on the front end of your website, in the admin area you can manage your events, create activities and instructors, set the studio location and, of course, manage your bookings.

Developers notes

The plugin uses Vue.js 3 with composition API. For the front end part it uses Tailwind CSS in order to make the page as light as possible and in the same time with good visual design. For the back end it uses vuetify.

Functionality

A WP plugin for single wellness (yoga) studio with options to:

Admin panel

Activities

• View all activities in a sortable data table (name, description, color, link)
• Add new activities with name, description, a color identifier, and an optional URL
• Edit existing activities
• Delete activities (with confirmation dialog; activities still used by events can't be deleted)

Instructors

• View all instructors in a sortable table with avatar/initials, biography, and URL
• Add new instructors with name, biography, avatar image, and optional URL
• Edit existing instructors
• Delete instructors (with confirmation dialog; instructors still used by events can't be deleted)

Events

The events section is split into two types:

Recurring Events

• View all weekly recurring events in a searchable, sortable table showing activity, instructor, day of the week, time slot, and available places
• Add new recurring events linked to an activity, instructor, day of the week, start/end time, and number of places
• Edit existing recurring events
• Delete recurring events (with confirmation dialog; also deletes their exceptions and reservations)
• Manage exceptions of a recurring event for a specific date — cancel it, reschedule it to another date/time, or change its time

Single Time Events

• View one-off events split into Upcoming and Past tabs
• Add single-time events with a specific date, activity, instructor, start/end time, and number of places
• Edit existing single-time events
• Delete single-time events (with confirmation dialog)

Bookings (Reservations)

• View all reservations in a table showing event name, booked session, booking time, user name and status
• Add a new reservation manually on behalf of a user (optionally emailing a confirmation; a full class asks before overbooking)
• View full reservation details: user name, email, phone, user notes, reservation date, and creation date
• Add internal admin notes to a reservation (supports multiple notes with author and timestamp)
• Cancel a reservation from the table or the detail view (the customer gets the cancellation email); permanently delete it from the detail view
• Preview the next 7 days of sessions with booked/available places and participants

Settings

General

• Manage payment methods — add or remove custom payment options shown to users during booking (e.g. "Cash on visit", "Card payment on visit")
• Set the studio location name displayed on the front end
• Set the cancellation time limit (hours before a class during which users can no longer cancel online)
• Enable/disable hCaptcha bot protection for the booking form (requires an hCaptcha site key and secret key)
• Choose whether deleting the plugin also deletes all its data

Email Templates

• Customise the HTML email template sent to users when a booking is confirmed
• Customise the HTML email template sent to users when a booking is cancelled
• Rich text editor (Quill) with full formatting options including headings, lists, links, and images

Users Booking workflow

• Open the calendar and pick up an event
• Select payment method
• Register with first and last name and e-mail; phone number is optional
• Receives an email with confirmation and a link for cancellation
• The cancellation link opens the calendar page, where the booking can be cancelled until the cancellation time limit

Calendar (front end)

• the calendar is build with recurring events and single one
• the calendar is showing the available event for the next 7 days
• shows places left (full classes can't be booked), time, instructor and the studio location (one location for the whole studio, set in Settings)
• can filter events by type or instructor
