This is the repository archive. It installs, but the folder name will carry the branch suffix and updates will not flow.

Install straight from GitHub with WP-CLI:

wp plugin install https://github.com/aliraza254/form-pdf-attachment/archive/refs/heads/main.zip
No built-in updater. New versions won't appear under Dashboard → Updates. Install new releases yourself, or let Git Updater track the repository.

A lightweight WordPress plugin designed for Elementor Pro forms to automatically attach a PDF lead magnet file to outbound form emails. Includes an intuitive Admin Settings Page so site administrators can easily configure target form names and select PDF attachments without editing code.

Features

  • Admin Settings Dashboard: Easily configure target form name and attachment path under Settings > Form PDF Attachment.
  • Media Library Uploader Integration: Select any PDF from your WordPress Media Library directly using the native media picker (wp_enqueue_media()).
  • Custom Server Path Support: Option to manually enter custom absolute server paths.
  • File Verification: Real-time status indicator on the settings page verifying whether the PDF file exists on the server.
  • Elementor Pro Form Hooking: Listens to the elementor_pro/forms/process hook.
  • Form Targeting: Filters form submissions by target form name (University Guide Request by default).
  • WP Mail Filter Cleanup: Automatically cleans up the wp_mail attachment filter after processing to prevent unwanted attachment leaks.

Configuration & Usage

  1. Go to Settings > Form PDF Attachment in your WordPress Admin dashboard (options-general.php?page=form-pdf-attachment).
  2. Set the Target Form Name to match the exact Form Name configured in Elementor Pro's Form Widget settings.
  3. Select a PDF file using Select PDF from Media Library or enter an absolute server path manually.
  4. Click Save Changes.
