A powerful WooCommerce plugin to evaluate and score your product content quality — right inside your WordPress admin panel.

This tool helps you automatically audit all your WooCommerce products, assign a score based on their content completeness, and take action to improve them. Ideal for SEO, conversion optimization, and catalog health.

✅ Key Features

  • Adds a new column "Content Score" to WooCommerce product list
  • Automatically scores every product upon save or manually via admin tools
  • Scores are based on key content criteria (title, description, images, stock, etc.)
  • Sortable column for quick filtering of weak products
  • Bulk update page for scoring all products at once
  • Safe storage in _content_score post meta
  • Removes all data upon deactivation for cleanliness

📊 How the Score is Calculated

Each product is scored on a 100-point scale. The following factors are evaluated:

Factor Points
Product categories assigned +8
Product tags assigned +2
Short description present +9
Long description present +11
Attributes added +9
Dimensions (length/width/height) +4
Weight provided +3
SEO-friendly slug format +4

Products missing any of these may score lower, helping you spot and improve them.

🌍 Slug Normalization – Why It Matters

This plugin checks whether the product slug (URL-friendly version of the product name) is in Latin characters, e.g., English.

Why does this matter?

When you use non-Latin scripts (e.g., Persian, Arabic, Cyrillic, Chinese), WordPress converts them into encoded URLs like:

/product/%D8%B1%D9%86%DA%AF-%D8%AE%D9%88%D8%B1%D8%A7%DA%A9%DB%8C/

This causes several issues:

  • 😕 Hard-to-read URLs for users
  • 🐌 Slow or broken behavior in some crawlers
  • ❌ SEO problems, especially with Google Search
  • 🔗 URLs may break in sharing tools or analytics platforms

💡 Why This Plugin Helps

If your store uses languages like:

  • Persian (Farsi) — ایران کوک‌شاپ، دیجی‌کالا، و …
  • Russian — магазины WooCommerce
  • Arabic, Hindi, Japanese, Chinese, or even French (with accented characters)

...this plugin encourages you to convert slugs to clean English transliterations, like:

/product/soft-gel-black-color/

Even if your product name is in another language, the slug should ideally be Latin-based for compatibility.

✅ This plugin flags slugs with non-English letters as not optimized and deducts points from the total score.

🇮🇷 Bonus for Persian WooCommerce Sites

As an Iranian developer, I can confirm: For Farsi-language WooCommerce shops, this is especially important. Google’s indexing system often struggles with Persian characters in slugs and URLs — leading to:

  • Lower crawlability
  • Missing products in Google results
  • Duplicate content flags

So if you’re running a Persian WooCommerce store, don’t skip this step!
