Welcome to the EasyMerchant Plugin for E-commerce! This plugin helps e-commerce owners integrate with Google Merchant Center, enabling them to create product feeds, collect product reviews, and add "Buy Now" buttons to enhance their online presence and boost sales.

Installation

Prerequisites

  • A Google Merchant Center account.
  • A compatible e-commerce platform (check plugin compatibility list).

Steps

  1. Download the Plugin: Obtain the EasyMerchant Plugin from the official marketplace or download it from our website.

  2. Install the Plugin:

    • Log in to your e-commerce platform admin panel.
    • Navigate to the Plugins or Extensions section.
    • Click on "Add New" and upload the EasyMerchant Plugin zip file.
    • Install and activate the plugin.

  3. Configure the Plugin:

    • Go to the EasyMerchant settings page in the admin panel.
    • Connect your Google Merchant Center account by entering the required credentials.
    • Set up your product feed preferences, review collection, and "Buy Now" button settings.
    • Save the changes.

  4. Generate Initial Product Feed:

    • Navigate to the Product Feed section.
    • Click on "Generate Feed" to create your initial product feed.
    • Upload the feed to Google Merchant Center to verify the integration.

Usage

Creating and Managing Product Feeds

  • Go to the EasyMerchant product feed page in the admin panel.
  • Configure your feed settings, including update frequency and included product categories.
  • Click on "Generate Feed" to create a new product feed or update an existing one.
  • The plugin will automatically update the product feed according to your configured schedule.

Collecting and Including Product Reviews

  • Navigate to the EasyMerchant reviews section.
  • Enable product review collection and configure the review form.
  • Collect reviews from customers and manage them from the admin panel.
  • Include reviews in your product feed to enhance your product listings on Google Merchant Center.

Adding "Buy Now" Buttons

  • Go to the EasyMerchant settings page.
  • Customize the appearance and placement of the "Buy Now" button.
  • Enable the "Buy Now" button on your product pages to streamline the purchasing process for customers.
