This is the repository archive. It installs, but the folder name will carry the branch suffix and updates will not flow.

Install straight from GitHub with WP-CLI:

wp plugin install https://github.com/adamsilverstein/disable-animated-subsizes/archive/refs/heads/main.zip

No built-in updater. New versions won't appear under Dashboard → Updates. Install new releases yourself, or let Git Updater track the repository.

To enable deployment, first obtain WordPress.org approval for the disable-animated-subsizes slug and add the repository Actions secrets SVN_USERNAME and SVN_PASSWORD for an account with SVN commit access. Use the WordPress.org SVN password for the latter.

For a release, make the plugin header version and readme stable tag match, commit the changes, and push a matching numeric Git tag, such as 1.0.0 (without a v prefix). The deployment workflow publishes the tagged plugin and directory assets using 10up's deployment action. A separate GitHub Release is optional.

Editable artwork lives in assets; WordPress.org PNGs live in .wordpress-org. The design is adapted from Disable Client Side Media.
