The author publishes release zips, so WP-CLI can install straight from GitHub:

wp plugin install https://github.com/abh1nash/utm-grabber/releases/download/release/release-0.0.0.3.zip

Declares an update source (https://github.com/abh1nash/utm-grabber), so updates arrive through the plugin's own updater.

UTM Grabber plugin for Wordpress

Fetches UTM params from the URL and appends to the href attribute of provided selector.

How to use

  1. Install and activate the plugin on your Wordpress site.
  2. From the menu in your Wordpress admin, navigate to UTM Grabber. It will lead you to the UTM Grabber Configuration page.
  3. In the configuration page, enter the CSS Selector that you want the plugin to target. For example, if you would like all the links on your page to have the UTM params appended, enter a in the Selector field and save.
  4. Done! UTM data is stored on the browser for 30 days.
