Download source zip No release zip yet

This is the repository archive. It installs, but the folder name will carry the branch suffix and updates will not flow.

Install straight from GitHub with WP-CLI:

wp plugin install https://github.com/abdulhameed-developer/course-comparator-pro/archive/refs/heads/main.zip
No built-in updater. New versions won't appear under Dashboard → Updates. Install new releases yourself, or let Git Updater track the repository.

A WordPress plugin for comparing courses. It maps JetEngine taxonomy metadata into course comparisons and supports server-side PDF generation. Administrators configure the mapping through an AJAX-driven settings interface.

Install on a development site

  1. Place the repository in a directory named course-comparator-pro under wp-content/plugins/. Keep the PHP entry point and the assets/ directory together.
  2. Open Plugins in WordPress and activate Course Comparator.
  3. Configure the taxonomy metadata mapping for your course data. Compare courses with different field values, then check the generated PDF against the on-screen comparison.

Repository layout

  • course-comparator-pro.php — plugin entry point and PHP implementation.
  • assets/ — supporting assets used by the plugin.

Production usage

Compare courses on TJS StudySteps. Abdul Hameed confirms this plugin is deployed and tested on the live site.

A browser check on 7 November 2026 selected two courses and opened a side-by-side comparison of their universities, qualifications, locations, durations, intakes and fees. The comparison offered a PDF download. PDF output and the deployed revision were not independently verified.

Version and licensing

The repository’s plugin header declares version 2.1.0 and lists the license as GPL2. It does not declare a minimum WordPress or PHP version. Check compatibility on a development site before installation.
