This is the repository archive. It installs, but the folder name will carry the branch suffix and updates will not flow.

Install straight from GitHub with WP-CLI:

Carok WP Promotion Button is a lightweight WordPress plugin for displaying a customizable promotional button. The button can be positioned in a top bar above the header or as a fixed position at the bottom of the page.

🛠️ Installation

  1. Upload the Plugin:

    • Download the plugin and upload the carok-wp-promotion-button folder to /wp-content/plugins/.
    • Alternatively, install directly from your WordPress admin dashboard.

  2. Activate the Plugin:

    • Go to the "Plugins" menu and activate "Carok WP Promotion Button."

  3. Configure Settings:

    • Navigate to "Promotion Button Settings" in the WordPress admin to customize your button.

Admin Settings

Configure the following settings via the admin page:

  • Button Text: Customize the button label.
  • Link URL: Add your custom link.
  • Target Behavior: Toggle whether the link opens in the same tab or a new tab.
  • Position: Choose between "Top Bar" or "Fixed Bottom."
  • Styles: Set background color, hover color, text color, font size, and font weight.
  • Custom CSS: Add your own CSS for additional styling.

Translation

The plugin includes a .pot file in the languages/ folder. Use translation tools like Poedit to translate the plugin into your language.
