This is the repository archive. It installs, but the folder name will carry the branch suffix and updates will not flow.

Install straight from GitHub with WP-CLI:

wp plugin install https://github.com/aartikhunti/newsletter-block/archive/refs/heads/main.zip
No built-in updater. New versions won't appear under Dashboard → Updates. Install new releases yourself, or let Git Updater track the repository.

A custom Gutenberg block for WordPress that renders a newsletter signup form on posts/pages. The plugin submits the form to a custom REST API endpoint, validates the email, and sends a confirmation email to the subscriber.

Installation

  1. Download the plugin zip or clone the repository.
  2. Upload to your WordPress site under wp-content/plugins/.
  3. Activate the plugin from the WordPress admin dashboard.
  4. Add the block to a post/page using the Gutenberg editor.

Usage

  • Fill in the first name, surname, and email address fields.
  • On submission, a confirmation email is sent to the subscriber.
  • Validation errors are displayed inline.
