Install

Download altcha-awsmteam-integration.zip From the v1.0.0 release on GitHub, Mar 26, 2026

Upload it under Plugins → Add New Plugin → Upload Plugin, then activate.

Install straight from GitHub with WP-CLI:

wp plugin install https://github.com/7408647n/altcha-awsmteam-integration/releases/download/v1.0.0/altcha-awsmteam-integration.zip
No built-in updater. New versions won't appear under Dashboard → Updates. Install new releases yourself, or let Git Updater track the repository.

WordPress integration to obfuscate AWSM Team social links using the ALTCHA obfuscation system.

This plugin uses the ALTCHA WordPress plugin and the AWSM Team plugin to make your team social links safe.

Requirements

  • awsm-team or awsm-team-pro plugin
  • altcha plugin v2.1.0+ (providing AltchaObfuscation, altcha_enqueue_obfuscation_scripts, altcha_enqueue_widget_scripts)

Installation

  1. Download the latest ZIP from the GitHub releases page: Download latest release.
  2. In WordPress admin, go to Plugins > Add New > Upload Plugin.
  3. Upload the ZIP file and activate the plugin.
  4. Ensure ALTCHA and AWSM Team or AWSM Team Pro plugins are both active.

Usage

A metabox in AWSM Team member edit screen controls ALTCHA obfuscation settings. Enable "Altcha Obfuscation" to wrap social icons in ALTCHA widgets. The "Label" field sets the button text for revealing links.
