No release zip yet. The repository archive installs, but the folder name will carry the branch suffix and updates will not flow:

wp plugin install https://github.com/pfefferle/wordpress-webfinger-legacy/archive/refs/heads/master.zip

Also on Packagist as pfefferle/wordpress-webfinger-legacy:

composer require pfefferle/wordpress-webfinger-legacy

The plugin was merged into the WebFinger plugin. WebFinger Legacy support The latest version of the WebFinger plugin (for WordPress) drops support for the old and experimental specs, this plugin brings back all this legacy stuff. It will only work in combination with the latest version of the WebFinger plugin (= 3.0.0):
